Author of the Stephan Raszer investigations series, A.W. Hill takes us down the virtual rabbit hole of belief, desire, and redemption while investigating metaphysical traditions dating from Babylon, the Knights Templar, and ancient tarot traditions seen through the filter of contemporary technology and post-human yearning. Danger that is both physical and spiritual, social and personal haunts his thrilling, beautifully written books. Raszer is a terrifically complex character, part philanderer/part feminist male, part incredibly cool tough guy/part exquisitely sensitive friend, he navigates the terrain of relationships, bodies, and convictions with the delicacy of a cat-headed god and the strength of a vulnerable but courageous man-bodied human.
A.W. Hill has won numerous literary prizes and is a Grammy-award winning music supervisor for films. He was the vice president of music for Disney Pictures and is currently the director of the MFA program in music composition for the screen at Columbia College, Chicago. He divides his time between Chicago and his beloved Los Angeles, where he does his best to maintain a virtual existence
