In Riverside, in a little industrial center west of downtown, brilliance is being evoked in a new work by the experimental contemporary artists team, Multipoint US. Structures are regenerated, light reinterpreted, and spatiality redetermined as clarity ebbs and flows, access is granted and rescinded, and terror hesitates just behind an “atmosphere of toxic breathlessness.”

This experimental work is the result of a year-long collaboration among a group of artists willing to step into the bizarre and uncertain space of "Gothic Logic," a phrase coined to describe the rationality that exists in the quantum realm between materiality and immateriality. Purposely difficult to catogorize, this work evokes a shift in spatial, intellectual, material, and visceral experience. Encompassing the entire space of studio, the ideas are contained but not confined to the limits of the walls, floor, and ceiling.

Inspired by postulates, poets, and pratitioners from Edward Soja to Abbott Denis, from Krishna to Annie Dillard, this exhibition will surprise, perplex, and gladden viewers of every ilk.
