Sharon Suhovy

Sharon Suhovy is a sculptor, installation artist, and plein aire painter. Her work negotiates the juxtaposition of content and context. The meandering calligraphy of excretion metaphorically represents language attached to a structure, which ultimately determines how one is socialized to respond to the center/form.

She has exhibited widely in Los Angeles and was represented by the Patricia Correia Gallery. She participated in an exhibition exchange in southern France and has been featured in various catalogs and magazines.

Sharon teaches art and art appreciation courses at Riverside Community College, Norco College, and Victor Valley College. She holds an MFA from Claremont Graduate University, 1995.
